Overwhelmed with gratefulness for the kindness and thoughtfulness of the people at Berean!

God has provided over and above in the last few days...He is good and we trust His leading...because He was faithful yesterday...so we will trust Him for today!

We're on our way!

We couldn't have done it without all our helpers! Expert helpers came from WI and MI and IL...all our worldly possessions fit on the truck and trailer. Kari will bring the shop-vac, shepherds hooks, flowerpots, and birdhouse. We just didn't have the room to fit anymore.
We pulled out at about 10:00 a.m. with a needed stop for gas...estimated travel time with the truck in the rain/fog...6 to 8 hours...
Brad is always so helpful...he kept us laughing...
"I will let you know what breaks, Brad!" We are grateful for Ben's help and company in the truck! "We'll keep you posted...as soon as we can find the box that holds the computer!"

Just enjoying the silly times we have had!

It is going to take alot to fill up the space that Grammy and Grampy will leave here in IL!
But we will come and visit and monkey around with them soon!

A joy shared...

is a joy doubled!

The piano has found a new home and owner! It is always a joy to share in the ministry of other's ministries. There is a gal from church who will have a "new-to-her piano" to practice on and teach other little (or big) piano players. The new owner can play to her heart's content...and the old owners don't have to move this heavy piano!

Comfort comes in all shapes and sizes!

Last night...it came in the form of a cast iron skillet (a mixed berry cobbler)and a 9x13 baking dish (chicken enchiladas)!
Sometimes...most times...a big hug from your kids and grandkids does the trick too! We tried our best to provide all four kinds last night to the weary sorter-pitcher-packer-uppers! Good progress is being made this week...there is a maze of boxes throughout the house!

Hey, Cade, Grampy could use your help!

God was faithful yesterday...so we will trust Him for today and tomorrow!

We're helping our daughter...

with her new venture in homeschooling! Whoever said a jar of rocks makes for a poor gift? Or a huge cabbage plant? Or whatever else we can unload...on the grand-kids! Ha ha ha
We have all sorts of treasures for Kari's science corner...the kids are excited to choose the "specialist rock" and measure how big the head of cabbage will grow. Wait till they find the ant farm!

"My friend...Jill...where are you?"

There are still 200 deer...elk...moose...eagle...bear...pictures to wrap! We don't know where to start and Kari doesn't know how to do it...the right way!

On a hill...far away...in the hills of Wisconsin...

You will find a nice church to visit...

and they have called a new pastor and his wife...known to you as Grampy and Grammy.

We will take up residence at the end of August...

in this beautiful parsonage...

and make it a home...sweet home!

Dinner with the Tacks

ended with gingersnap cookies and the ever infamous cup of Tim Horton's coffee!
Just in case you were wondering...we solved all of the world's problems too.

It all has to start some where!

So we will begin here...on a little hill in a yellow house with green shutters...
