Tuesday's Blessing

We have  new grandbaby!!  Isaac Sean was born at 10:45 am on July 31, 2012.  He weighed in at 6 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long.  He looks like his sisters and brother (also his daddy).  We are planning a trip to see him and the rest of the family in the next week.  Thank you, Kari, for putting the picture on my blog.

Monday's Respite

It was a day off after  a busy weekend.  We decided to go for a drive.  The car knew where to go - up North.  It was a beautiful day to enjoy God's handiwork in the north country.  Lake Superior was a calm blue instead of the cloudy brown that is was the last time we were there. The shoreline was filled with uprooted trees from the June "storm of the century.  We found a nice lakeside park, sat on a bench and watched the lake and people.  It was a hot day and people were swimming in Lake Superior.  You don't see that too very often.
