Happy July

We are looking forward to a visit from the Michigan Turbetts.  There is a fifth member of the family  not in this picture.  She is older now and we are hoping to spoil her.

This is Avery, and she is 10+ months old now.
We are hoping the weather will not be in the 100's while the family is here.  It is not supposed to be so hot up here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

June Celebrations

Our 43rd Anniversary  and the"Medicare Birthday" have come and gone.  We did spend a day at our favorite spot in  Duluth, MN with our good friends, the Frieses.  The garden is growing, the flowers are blooming, the raspberries are filling out nicely.  The Number One mower/landscaper is busy as a beaver.  If I ever wonder where DBT is - check the garage door .  He is out on one of the three mowers that are in the garage.  The church acquired a John Deere with a 60" deck.  (I sound knowledgeable, don't I?)  Now the mowing can be done in half the time.  We also had to make the garden plot a little bigger to accomodate the 28 tomatoe plants.  We are hoping for a bumper crop this year since last year was ZERO.
