Sometimes you just have to laugh! My "Sweetie" commented to me the other day about how sweet his rice (for chicken stir-fry) tasted. Didn't mine taste sweet? No! Then he realized that he was using the sugar shaker (for lefse) instead of the salt shaker. Notice the difference in size!!!! We laughed!
TODAY as I set the fried potatoes and poached eggs in front of my "Sweetie" and he caught himself sugaring his eggs with the SAME sugar shaker instead of the salt - well, you can imagine the chuckle I got out of that!!
The laughter helped to lift our spirits and ease some of the burden. I wasn't laughing at my "Sweetie", I was laughing with him.

Relaxing in God's Winter Wonderland
The Comfort Suites in Duluth were still all decorated for the season.
It was neat to see The Bridge all lit up with thesnow. I had never seen the Canal Park area in the winter. We were surprised to see all the activity in the middle of the week in winter.
I couldn't help but notice the little red cardinals sitting in the trees.
The view from our room was a bit different than in the summer or fall.

More Christmas Memories
This was the finished product.
These were the creators. They did a good job of using up all the candy provided plus some extra. Notice the cute banana chimney.
Caden is ready to leave with his new bulldog pillow. Actually, the dog looks pretty real without the slobber, ( he, he!)
