When we went to bed on Saturday night the snow was drifted up to the windows. By morning the drift had shifted behind the cars.
This is the drift in front of the main entrance to the church.
This is the view looking straight on. It took a bobcat and a strong teen age boy to clear the door. Dwight was out helping shovel, too.
This entrance is on the road coming from the parsonage. Part of the huge snow pile is from the plows.
I never realized that you were right across from the church. Do you walk to church? The Hodders are across the field from the church. Glen Weeks told them to drive to church so it looks like some one is there. Sounds smart to me!
ReplyDeleteI could have used a snow day today. I had a hard time with picking up the kids that I go for every week...windows frosted up, side doors frozen shut... Hey, I survived!
OH MY WORD! The pictures put it all into perspective! I would give Ben a high-five and even a hug for helping to dig you all out! Tell him thank you from us too and give him 12 more cookies! The kids wish they could have dug you out...however...it would have turned to fort building and you would still be stuck! WINTER IS HERE! Love you both! Be careful and stay warm!
