Is It REALLY Spring???? I think so!

Due to the fact that my USB has malfunctioned and I have not pestered my "son-in-love", I do not have pictures to put on the blog.  Actually, I don't think anyone would enjoy the picture I am looking at out the study window - SNOW, SNOW. and MORE SNOW.  It is still coming down as I type and blowing like a January blizzard.  Oh, hum!! I am worried about the little robins that I saw on Monday morning pecking in the GREEN grass that was showing.
Our days have been filled with activities and trips and overnight guests.  We have had two missionaries in the past month and a half, a banquet, a Ladies Retreat, and a trip to see Minnesota friends. It is also the start of Syrup Season here in Wisconsin.  The bags and containers have been hanging for over a week now.  I am not sure we are having what they called a "sugar snow" in the Little House in the Big Woods book - but the sap may slow down for a while now.
We are looking forward to going to the Annual Missions Conference in Woodville the end of the week.  This will be our 5th year doing the music.  We are excited because they are in their new church building.  We are so thankful that the Lord has given us this opportunity.
The calendar says that  it REALLY is spring.  I feel like it is spring in my heart.  The Lord is teaching me that the truths that I have known for years need to be rehearsed and refreshed and replanted in my soul.  Just like those perennials that I planted last year will be growing up again after the winter snows.  I will be speaking at  a Mother/Daughter Banquet on the subject  ". . . His truth endureth to all generations."  I am so thankful for the rich heritage that I have and can pass on to the next generation. My prayer is to see the seeds of God's Word growing in the lives of my children and grandchildren.
