A Christmas Surprise

When Santa BANGS on your door, it just might be your son-in-love and not the neighbor.   I did not recognize the funny man in the red suit until Teddy III stepped out from behind the jolly old guy.  They say I screamed and giggled.  What a huge and fun surprise to have the sisters and their families come for a visit.  And they had the sleeping arrangementt figured out ahead of time.  My grandma would have been impressed.  She always had a plce for everyone to sleep, even if it was a Sunday afternoon nap.

Where are the girls when you need them?  Here they are!! In fact as I was blogging about them, they were traveling down the highway on their way to visit us.  They had a chuckle or two about that. We knew Mari and Brad were coming, but we didn't know about Kari and Ted.

  1. It was so fun! I still get teary-eyed thinking about all the fun we had. I know the surprise was for you...but we so needed that time with everyone! It is nice to remember there is more to life than just the little spot on the map where we live...you have to step away from it sometimes!!!
