HOPE: the reflection of existent reality

Just as this sunrise over Lake Superior gives hope (anticipation, expectation,) for a new day, God's Word gives us hope ( anticipation, expectation, trust) for our eternal future.  Our pastor (my beloved) gave a wonderful message last Sunday night on "Hope" from I Corinthians 13:12.
I.  Hope recognizes the present limit of knowledge.
II.  Hope recognizes the anticipation of the reality of the promise fulfilled.
III.  Hope energizes the present life of the believer
- this hope purifies us  I John 3:2-3
-this hope clarifies our reason  I Peter 3:15
-this hope assures us of life eternal  Titus 2:13

In the light of this HOPE, the trials and difficulties of this life seem a little dimmer and the FUTURE a lot brighter.
