It has been a long time since I blogged and alot has happened in the Turbett family. Now the hills of northern Wisconsin are beginning to change color and it reminds me of our Great God and His Great love for each of us. We made a trip to Michigan via Rockford, Il. During our vacation we were able to see our new grandbaby, Isaac Sean, and all the rest of the grandkids and their parents. We had a grand time with all of them. I'm so glad the grandkids (even though they are getting bigger) let their Grammy hug and kiss them lots. Even the boys don't mind it (I hope). What a blessing our family is to us!!
The three and a half days in Spring Lake with Sean and his family went fast. It rained most of the time we were there but no one was complaining because they needed the rain so much. We were able to spend Sunday with Brad and Mari and had the priviledge of hearing Brad preach. We learned a new song and sang with Brad and Mari in the morning service. I also got to play the piano for the services because their regular pianist was gone for the summer. That was a blessing, too!
We stayed a night in Mackinaw City and toured the Island. It was fun going there with Brad and Mari and their kids. Brad and Mari went to the Island on their honeymoon 18 years ago. Wow!
Our next destination was Pictured Rocks on the shores of Lake Superior in the UP. It was awesome. We left Brad and Mari and the kids at their campground and headed back home to Hillsdale.
Once we got home we were busy with the abundant blessing of our garden. The canners came out and the freezer started filling up with raspberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and beans.
The call came from Kari and Ted telling us that the job Ted had applied for in Michigan was for sure. We had been praying long and hard for the Lord's leading in their lives and the answer came. That was a HUGE blessing! The canner was set aside for a while and we drove down to Rockford to try and help with the packing that needed to be done in two weeks time. Praise the Lord it all was done with the help of family and friends.
Now all of our children and grandchildren live in Michigan. The girls live close to each other and their brother lives about 2 1/2 hours away. God is so good! What a blessing!
" As for God His way is Perfect.: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in Him." " Psalm 18:30

Wonderful update on your dear family! Truly God is so good! Love you all!
